How to Add Your OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini API Key

Promptular lets you bring your own API keys for direct launching to supported AI platforms.

To add your API keys:

  1. Go to Settings > API Keys in your dashboard
  2. Paste your key into the appropriate field (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini)
  3. Click Save

Once saved, you’ll be able to launch prompts directly to that platform from your prompt cards using the corresponding quicklaunch button.

✅ Free users can launch prompts to ChatGPT using quicklinks (no API key required) or add an optional ChatGPT API key for in-app generation
✅ Elite and Lifetime users can add API keys for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini + future platforms, and create custom quicklaunch buttons for any AI tool"

What Platforms Are Supported?

Promptular currently supports launching to:


  • ChatGPT (OpenAI)
  • Claude (Anthropic)
  • Gemini (Google)

Elite and Lifetime users will automatically gain access to new platforms as they’re added — at no extra cost.

How to Launch a Prompt into an AI Platform

To launch a saved prompt:

  1. Click the launch button on the prompt card (e.g., “Launch to ChatGPT”)
  2. A new tab will open, and your prompt will be automatically pasted into the AI platform’s interface (based on your API key)

If you’ve added a custom platform quicklaunch URL, it will appear as an additional button on the prompt card (Elite & Lifetime only).
